The
ALPI Frostproof Child Development Head Start Program is
a delegate to the Polk County Opportunity Council (PCOC),
providing comprehensive full year, full day head Start services
and experiences to fifty-four (54) three (3) and four (4)
year old children and their families. The services include
health, family and community partnership and transition
services in accordance with the National Head Start Performance
Standards. The Frostproof Head Start Program operational
year begins November 1st and ends October 31st . Through
the Family Partnership and Community Services Agreement,
parents, staff and community agencies work collaborative
efforts to access directly or through referral services
and resources to meet the family's needs, interests and
goals.
